Online registration is closed but it is not too late to join us for DNOW 2018. Here is what you need to know:

  • Registration: Come to the Atrium entrance starting at 5:30pm on Friday to get registered and placed into a Family Group before Worship starts. The cost is $85 and you can pay by cash or check.
  • Weekend Schedule (click here to download): Students will enter through the Atrium entrance (by the Home Front) on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast and Family Group on Sunday morning will meet at the Student Building.
  • Parents! We want you to experience some of what your students get to experience at DNow. Here are 3 ways you can get involved:
    • Large Group Sessions: Students will be seated with their Family Groups during sessions but you are welcome to attend. There will be plenty of room at the back of the Worship Center for you. You can also watch from home or on your phone. To access the live-stream, go to www.hunterstreet.org and click on the live-stream link in the top right corner. Refer to schedule above for Session times.
    • Parent Breakout: In addition to some awesome breakout options for our students we will also have a Parent Breakout designed just for you from 12:30-1:30pm in the Chapel. Come meet other parents and listed as Andy Wilbanks, our Family Minister, addresses common struggles for parents raising teenagers in an increasingly secular culture.
    • Parent Talking Points: Be on the lookout for Parent Talking Points emails throughout the weekend. These will help you and your child discuss and process what is happening during and after DNow.
  • Missions: Students will have several opportunities to participate in missions-related activities throughout the weekend.
    • Giving: We will be collecting money throughout the weekend to go towards a feeding clinic run by our missionary partners in Niger. Money collected will be used to purchase goats which provide milk to be able to feed infants.
    • Off-Campus: Seniors will participate in off-campus missions at the Alabama Baptist Family Home in Gardendale. They may want to bring a change of clothes in case they get messy working at the home. No additional supplies are needed for this.
    • On-Campus: Students grades 7-11 will have the opportunity to attend Breakout Sessions geared towards students who want to know more about serving on mission internationally or close to home.
  • What to Bring. Students will need to bring their Bible and any other materials they may need during the day. They will need money on Saturday night to purchase dinner from Food Trucks. We will also have Student Ministry merchandise (shirts, journals, water bottles, etc) that will be available for purchase throughout the weekend.

We look forward to a great weekend!
